Nature Preserve at Charlie's Pasture - North

The Nature Preserve at Charlie's Pasture - North has a parking area, restrooms, picnic area, and shaded pavilion. Next to the parking lot, there are trail entrances for Clay's Hill, Community Park Trail, and Salt Island Trail.

The Clay's Hill Loop is a quick .25 mile walk and is an important rest stop for migratory birds. This is a paved concrete path with a ramp, two shade structures, and an ADA scope overlooking Charlie's Pasture.

The Salt Island Trail is 2 miles round trip. After one mile you will arrive at a large observation tower that overlooks saltmarsh and tidal flats.

The Community Park Trail connects to Paradise Pond, the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center, and Community Park Pond. It showcases most of our upland prairie habitat.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure the requested date and facility. The remaining balance is due in full prior to the start of the event.

Cancellations made due to verified illness or death may be eligible for a full refund upon submission of appropriate documentation. No other reasons for cancellation will be considered for a refund. All other cancellations will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

By confirming a reservation, the renter acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms of this cancellation policy.
