Ahoy, Port Aransas!

We’re thrilled to bring a brand-new splash of fun to the community with Paddle or Plunder – The Great Cardboard Boat Float! Join us on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Port Aransas Community Pool for an unforgettable evening of creativity, laughter, and high-seas adventure. Build your own cardboard boat, dress in your best pirate attire, and see if your vessel can survive the treacherous voyage across the pool—or if it will sink in dramatic fashion! This exciting event is free to register a boat, but standard pool admission fees apply on the day of the event. Open to all ages, prizes will be awarded for Fastest Boat, Most Creative Design, Best Costume, and Most Dramatic Sinking. Advance registration is required. Whether you paddle your way to victory or go down trying, one thing’s for sure—this event will be a night to remember!
